About Me

I have been passionate about reading and writing since I was a child. My love of storytelling led me to publishing, where I have the privilege of helping authors find their voice and convey their unique ideas to readers.
Before becoming a freelance writer and editor, I was a senior editor at Clarkson Potter, the illustrated lifestyle books imprint of Penguin Random House, where I focused for ten years on House & Home, Cookbooks, Gardening, Weddings, Personal Style, and Gift books and paper products.
My authors include Alexa Hampton, Aerin Lauder, Celerie Kemble, Deborah Needleman, Apartment Therapy and The Kitchn.com, Carley Roney and TheKnot.com, Thom Filicia, Darryl Carter, Dorothea Johnson and Liv Tyler, Carolyne Roehm, the American Heart Association, Blackberry Farm, Gayla Trail, and many others.
I began my publishing career at ReganBooks/HarperCollins, where I edited a wide range of bestselling nonfiction and fiction authors, including Neil Strauss, Jenna Jameson, Dave Navarro, Todd Oldham, Bernie Mac, Amber Frey, and Wally Lamb.
Previously, I spent a year studying French literature at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris after graduating from Princeton University with a degree in Comparative Literature and Creative Writing. While there, I was awarded the Creative Writing Sophomore Award, which was selected by my poetry professors including Paul Muldoon, C.K. Williams, and James Richardson.
My first published work was my third-grade short story “Baby Cow’s Adventure.”
